Us Amateur Athletics Association

USAAA advocates for athletes and sports that have traditionally been referenced as “Minor Sports”.  Our Initial focus is to elevate their visibility and unify their audiences.

Mission: Build profitable platforms that raise visibility and improve health at all levels for sports that comprise our United States Olympic movement.

Vision: A healthy US amateur sports ecosystem giving athletes at all levels in all sports a better future.

USAAA’s mission, vision, and strategy culminate in building a commercial solution for the benefit of all ages of the US Olympic sports system resulting in independent self-sustainability for the amateur sports ecosystem.

Are you Frustrated when you read these Headlines?

  1. The Power 5 college conferences are consolidating for enhanced media revenue distribution. Sport Governing Bodies are concerned that this may result in significantly less budget for non-revenue college sports, accelerating cancellations!

  2. Will the NCAA exist if the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) leadership chooses to host its own National Men’s BB tournament? Who will host national championships of non-revenue sports?

  3. Most US Olympians have few career opportunities to build on their athletic legacy. Why is no organization focused on their transition?

  4. National Governing Bodies (NGBs) are encouraging smaller universities to add Olympic sport teams to enhance enrollment. Do these traditionally non-scholarship roles result in fewer athletic opportunities for middle/lower income families?

  5. Name Image & Likeness (NIL) is a great opportunity for college athletes. How do non-revenue athletes build an audience that focus on personality and not appearance?

  6. Is early age “sport-specialization” a contributor to youth mental health issues? Is there an improvement to the system that would help?

  7. Are boys team opportunities more impacted by restricted athletic budgets?

The transition of college sports towards professionalism is accelerated by the reorganization of the revenue sports leadership and the legal pursuit of employment status for college athletes. Change is guaranteed and will happen unpredictably.

USAAA is building a commercial solution to embrace these changes for the benefit of amateur athletes and the stakeholders in the Olympic sport system. This will provide the platform to address issues highlighted in such potential headlines.

Todd Beetcher describes the noble cause of USAAA.

USAAA is FOCUSED on increasing and sustaining visibility of amateur sports and their heroes, building, and unifying their fan base, and raising their voice and economic value to be a viable and powerful platform.

  • THE PROBLEM

US amateur athletics is being impacted by seismic changes occurring across the broader sports ecosystem. Revenue generating sports at the collegiate and professional levels enjoy unprecedented visibility and popularity yet so called “minor" sports find themselves at risk. “Minor” sports are faced with team eliminations at colleges and universities, declining post-covid high school participation and media focused on football and basketball. The US amateur athletic ecosystem is under threat. Some sports could soon be unrecognizable.

A revolutionary approach to rebuild the amateur ecosystem is needed ….and…it’s worth rebuilding for the benefit of children, families, and USA’s Olympic competitiveness. Most importantly it benefits our society which has enjoyed the many positive cultural values learned thru sport.

  • WHY USAAA

USAAA has a mission, vision, and strategy to make a positive impact on the amateur sports ecosystem.

USAAA unites the talent of successful athletes, experienced business executives and technology experts to frame and deliver solutions that can bring energy and innovation to the amateur sports ecosystem.

USAAA is interested in helping all layers of the system. Delivering Olympians new career opportunities as well as enabling the youngest to enjoy the sport before chasing victory.

USAAA is founded by successful Americans who understand the complexities of funding, technology and promotion. Complementary backgrounds that share a unifying perspective on the importance of this issue.

  • THE SOLUTION

USAAA is aimed at increasing and sustaining visibility of amateur sports and their heroes, building, and unifying their fan base, and raising their voice and economic value to be a viable and powerful platform.

It is USAAA’s belief that for too long “minor” sports have accepted their role in the broader sports ecosystem and that their collective brand can be built and leveraged to create a brighter future for their individual sports and the athletes who have the passion to participate in them.

Critical to the solution is harnessing the power and passion of the youth sport families that form the foundation of our US Sport pyramid. Enabling them to be part of the solution and to connect with others in the pyramid will be most successful through an innovative technical solution!

USAAA’s team is very excited about our entertaining solution that will benefit all layers of the sport pyramid.

A novel solution that’s built for self-sustaining financial success.

The team is busy with final touches and will be lifting the curtain on our solution very soon!

TODD BEETCHER, FOUNDER USAAA

Our most successful accomplishment is our daughters. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and we have spent a lifetime enjoying the service and sacrifice required to build a family that’s resulted in 2 young women with doctorate degrees and distinguished athletic careers. What I value most is their character and treatment of others. Respect, compassion and empathy fortify their ambition and execution. With the opportunity to pursue sport achievement they have become diamonds!

My enthusiasm for them is the foundation of my passion to make sure that there is a growing and robust sport system in the US. This is where our heroes learn the traits of kindness, cooperation and teamwork. Building a better society.

I’ve had a successful 30 year career in the high tech industry identifying new product concepts, launching and growing companies and raising venture capital. My LINKEDIN profile feels more like Silicon Valley, but I’ve remained in Boulder, CO to raise my family. My range of technical skills is what specifically allows me to identify the necessary technology to build a system that will integrate with and benefit the sport system stakeholders. My robust background in marketing fuels the innovative communication and comprehensive promotion of our vision and solution.

Born with passion for family, sport & a happy society, I want to bring all I’ve learned & loved to help the US with the transition of the amateur sport ecosystem.
